The Daisy

A daisy grows in the cracks of the cold concrete world. Every day, she is bumped, kicked, and stepped on, but she just bends to the abuse. After the long days are over, she stands as vibrant as ever showing off her petals to the moon who greets her with dim light. Neither the sun nor the moon comes without darkness, and she knows this. For her, the goal of existence is simple: to put a smile on face of another. It is why she stands.
